CEAMSA joins the PROALIS-CARBON program and reinforces its decarbonization commitment

CEAMSA reaffirms its commitment to sustainability and climate action

On September 17, CEAMSA took part in the Food Sector Meeting, an event organized by the Alianza Galega polo Clima with the support of the Galician Food Cluster (Clusaga) and the Regional Government of Galicia (Xunta de Galicia).

The meeting brought together companies and key players from the Galician food ecosystem to discuss the challenges of decarbonization, climate change, and the sustainable transformation of the sector.

PROALIS-CARBON: advancing toward a low-carbon food industry

During the event, the PROALIS-CARBON program was presented — an initiative led by Clusaga that supports companies in their transition toward more efficient and low-carbon production models.

In line with its Sustainability Strategy, CEAMSA has joined this program, which includes a pathway of diagnosis, training, and technical support.
The aim is to reduce emissions across the food industry value chain and promote a more responsible, efficient, and sustainable model aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Sharing experiences and best practices

The meeting also featured a best practices panel entitled “How to achieve decarbonization in the food industry value chain”, moderated by Ricardo Castro, Quality and Environment Director at Vegalsa-Eroski.

The session included the participation of Bodegas Martín Códax, Nauterra, and Pazo de Vilane, who shared real sustainability experiences and discussed key actions to foster energy and environmental transition in the Galician food sector.

Commitment to climate action and sustainable innovation

CEAMSA’s participation in this event strengthens its role as a company committed to climate action, energy efficiency, and sustainable innovation.

These are core pillars of CEAMSA’s strategy to build a more resilient and environmentally responsible food industry.
