CEAMSA launches second CEAMBOOST call

CEAMSA launches second CEAMBOOST call to back innovative startups in natural ingredients and sustainable technologies

The programme raises its initial investment amount to €200,000 and will accept applications from 1 to 30 June 2026

CEAMSA is taking its open-innovation strategy a step further with the launch of the second CEAMBOOST call. The corporate venture initiative is designed to support early-stage startups working in natural ingredients and sustainable technologies.

The new edition runs from 1 to 30 June 2026 and reinforces the company’s commitment to identifying entrepreneurial talent and connecting it with industrial capabilities, technical know-how and market access.

The standout change in this second call is a more ambitious financial offer: an initial investment potential of up to €200,000 per startup. CEAMBOOST plans to select up to three high-growth companies with strong prospects in emerging markets.

The call is open to pre-seed, seed and early-growth startups that have a minimum viable product, a B2B business model and clear scalability potential.

In terms of focus areas, CEAMBOOST is looking for projects with a natural, health-driven and positive-impact approach — including novel texturisers and stabilisers, plant proteins and fibres, functional compounds, and sustainable technological ingredients developed through precision fermentation, biotechnology or circular-economy green processes.

The first call, launched in May 2025, attracted more than 50 applications from 14 countries and resulted in a strategic partnership with Catalan startup Poseidona.

Alongside this new investment call, CEAMSA has embedded two permanent open-innovation tracks within CEAMBOOST. The first targets universities and research groups, aiming to turn scientific outcomes into high-potential startups through venture-building models. The second operates as an ad hoc collaboration channel with startups, focused on solution scaling, business development and access to industrial capabilities.

With this second call, CEAMSA is doubling down on open innovation — broadening its collaboration options, increasing its investment capacity and growing the number of participating startups, so that entrepreneurial innovation keeps reaching the market.
