CEAMSA Recognised at the 7th Ardán Business Excellence Awards
CEAMSA, a globally recognised name in texturising agents and natural hydrocolloids, has been recognised at the 7th Ardán Business Excellence Awards, organised by the Consorcio Zona Franca de Vigo. CEAMSA qualified under five competitiveness and quality indicators, placing it in the Consolidated Excellence category.
Last Thursday, the Auditorio Mar de Vigo played host to the 7th Ardán Business Excellence Awards ceremony. Fourteen Galician companies were recognised for achieving four or more of the competitiveness and quality indicators set by the Ardán Report. CEAMSA was singled out in the Consolidated Excellence category with five indicators, making it one of the strongest performers among this year’s recipients.
The Consolidated Excellence award was also presented to Cuvida, Hermasa, Optare Solutions, RodaVigo and Torus Software Solutions. A further eight companies were recognised under the Emerging Leadership category. The Special Career Achievement Award was presented to Corporación Abanca in recognition of its contribution to Galicia’s economic development.

David Regades, Director of Consorcio Zona Franca de Vigo, underlined the rigour behind the award: “Every company that earns this prize has had to satisfy the exacting, objective criteria of the Ardán Report — one of the most thorough and authoritative surveys of business performance in Galicia.” He also noted that Vigo is Spain’s leading city for ICT employment, with 13.4 % of its workforce in the sector, more than double the national average of 6 %.
Vigo’s mayor, Abel Caballero, closed the ceremony by praising what the Ardán Awards stand for: the city’s enduring drive for business excellence, and a region that consistently champions entrepreneurship, innovation and high standards.
