FABRINTYSO moves into its testing and validation phase

FABRINTYSO is moving forward as planned and has now entered its testing and validation phase. This is a key stage in which the new technology is tested in real conditions to make production more flexible, smart and sustainable.

CEAMSA is running the FABRINTYSO project to build a flexible, smart and sustainable pilot line for developing new products.

This new line closes the gap between testing products in the lab and moving them into full production at the plant.

In doing so, the pilot line makes CEAMSA's processes more flexible and supports the company's green transition. It also improves the traceability and sustainability of its products, in line with the new technological and environmental demands of the food sector.

FABRINTYSO is being developed in several stages, with four main technical goals:

• Build a pilot line flexible enough to test every type of product the company makes.
• Develop and set up the technology for the new flexible, smart and sustainable line.
• Create a system to digitalise the new pilot line.
• Run the pilot trials needed to validate the new technology, products and processes.

As well as setting up and validating key infrastructure, the project models the production processes using digitalisation and advanced data analysis, with process control powered by Artificial Intelligence.

A multidisciplinary team works on the project, with people from engineering and process control, production, quality, R&D and IT. Together they set up and develop the new line, which uses advanced sensor and Industry 4.0 technology.

The project brings together all the necessary processes on a single pilot line. This makes manufacturing far more efficient, versatile and innovative, and strengthens the company's position in international markets.

FABRINTYSO is now in its testing and validation phase. The team is running product quality tests and validation trials on the new pilot line to confirm that the new technology, products and processes meet the requirements and can be scaled up to the company's current production lines.
