Fabrintyso: Our new multifunctional, connected, and sustainable pilot plant

At CEAMSA, we firmly believe in 4.0 technologies as tools for a more sustainable and efficient future. Through the FABRINTYSO project, we are developing a new versatile and digitalized pilot line that will strengthen the leap between experimental validation in the laboratory and subsequent optimal implementation at the production plant.

Thus, the new pilot line will significantly contribute to both process flexibility and the company’s green transition, aiming to disruptively improve the traceability and sustainability of the products developed at CEAMSA based on the new requirements brought about by the changing paradigm of the agri-food sector, both technologically and environmentally.

Current Status of the Project:

The project began at the end of 2024, and during the first stage, analysis, design, and engineering tasks were developed to provide the necessary flexibility to the processes as well as define the technologies that will ensure its sustainability.
Currently, we are advancing in the digital modelling phase and in the implementation and validation of relevant infrastructures, including advanced data analysis using Artificial Intelligence tools.

A Step Further Towards a Connected and Responsible Industry

The new pilot plant, scheduled for completion in 2026, will allow disruptive optimization in the industrialization of our company’s innovative products, merging all necessary processes into a single pilot line, thereby increasing efficiency, versatility, innovation capacity, and, overall, strengthening the company’s competitive positioning in international markets.

FABRINTYSO will contribute to continue increasing our international competitiveness and strengthening our commitment to innovation, Industry 4.0, and environmentally responsible production as the basis of our strategic growth.

This project is funded by the Galician Innovation Agency through its “Smart and Sustainable Factory 2023” call and financed by the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER) – Galicia FEDER Program 2021-2027.
