CEAMSA publishes its 2024 Sustainability Report highlighting significant progress across its strategic pillars

The company advances on its “Purely Sustainable” roadmap and reaffirms its commitment to a responsible, transparent industry aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
CEAMSA has published its 2024 Non-Financial Information Statement (EINF), a document that reflects the company’s sustainability progress over the past year and consolidates the results of its “Purely Sustainable” strategy, presented last year.
This report, independently verified, serves as a key tool for transparency and stakeholder engagement, enabling a rigorous evaluation of the economic, social, and environmental impacts of the Group’s activity.
A cross-cutting strategy for a sustainable future
CEAMSA’s sustainability roadmap is structured around four strategic pillars: Product, Planet, People, and Principles, and is aligned with international standards (GRI, CSRD, UN Global Compact) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Below are some of the most notable achievements during the 2024 fiscal year in each of these areas:
Product – Creating ingredients for a strong future
• In 2024 we increased our investment in R&D, focused on clean label, sustainable, and high-value functional solutions.
• Participation in major customer development projects, a 15.9% increase over the previous year.
Planet – Contributing to a healthier planet
• At our headquarters, over two-thirds of the energy used is generated from renewable sources.
• Execution of the decarbonization plan, with milestones such as joining the Alianza Galega polo Clima and undergoing the ISO 50001 certification audit.
People – Fostering talent and social progress
• 15% increase in team training hours.
• Strengthening of equality and inclusion programs, with a focus on increasing female representation in leadership positions.
Principles – Corporate growth with values
• Implementation of an internal sustainability audit program at source, evaluating suppliers on environmental, social, and labor responsibility.
• Participation in strategic initiatives such as the UN Global Compact’s Climate Ambition Accelerator.
The publication of this report marks another step in the company’s commitment to a development model that integrates innovation, responsibility, and shared value creation, contributing to a more resilient and fairer industry.
“We want our customers, partners, communities, and stakeholders to know with complete transparency what we do, how we do it, and where we are headed. This report is a meeting point between our industrial vision and our global commitment,” said Iñigo Alzueta, President of the CEAMSA Group.
